Beheaded Body Found in Bangladesh’s Pirojpur, Two Suspects Arrested
Police have arrested two suspects following the recovery of a beheaded body in the southern district of Pirojpur, in a case that has shocked local residents.
The victim, identified as Gopal Chandra Das, was found dead near a riverbank in the Nesarabad (Swarupkathi) area. According to investigators, the body was discovered in a secluded location, raising suspicions that the killing may have been carried out elsewhere before the body was dumped at the site.
Witnesses reported seeing a group of individuals arriving at the scene on a motorcycle and leaving shortly afterward, which drew the attention of locals and later prompted a police investigation.
Law enforcement agencies conducted operations and arrested two suspects, identified as Md. Samrat and Md. Raju. Authorities believe more individuals may be involved and are continuing efforts to identify and apprehend others connected to the crime.
